Going...going...gone!

Only 2.75 days left here! Then i'm gonnnnnnnnnnee...not for good, obviously, but let's just say that to further support my current feelings :) A brand new start, a brand new place and brand new ppl; i wonder how that'll turn out. As a very wise person once said (u know who u are, and enjoy the compliment;)), whenever you're setting out to do something, just remember to: "Expect the worst, hope for the best." And surprisingly enough, it's an all-rounder philosophy, isn't it?Applies to practically everything we do...but quite sadly, doesn't apply to everyONE. Anywho let's put my mission to convert every living being to pessimissm aside for the time being. There are bigger fish to fry! (<--- *ouch*, how cheesy was that?!)
No seriously, no big fish. Just a lot of uncertainty...a WHOLE lotta it, as a matter of fact. We all want our "happily ever afters", and yet, we so easily forget the effort it takes to get there. Hell ya!I'm not denying that pot of gold's sitting pretty somewhere, waiting to be picked up, but whoever said it's at the end of a rainbow was SURE mistaken! And even if it IS a rainbow, it's definitely not one of those picture-perfect ones: it's got shades of grey and black, and it's hardly the "smooth curve". Oh yeah, and we can't even see that pot. Hmmm, is that where the saying "All that glitters is not gold" came from?
We all ask : "So like, dude, what's the point?"
We all answer: "Huh? What?? Can you repeat the question??"
Don't look at me...it's only my idea of food for thought :) All i know is that everything does happen for a reason, even if the reason is conveniently tucked away in a dark corner. Tried and tested, believe you me.

On that note, I depart...
