Bring on the feast!

listening to: the "phat phat" of rickshaws
thinking about: having an early night

The "phat phat" of rickshaws doesn't even remotely imply that my roomie's kicked me out on to the street yet, so before that thought even enters your mind, shove it out!!

Today we had a GREAT iftari Alhamdulillah. Venue: roomie's phuppo's place. Menu: lol, there was SO much i can't even remember. No actually, it was SO awesome, i actually can!BUT before i type, you are advised to read this after maghrib and before fajr!
So like we left the hostels at about 5:15, got to their house and chit-chatted for a bit (lol, there's nothing we do better than chit-chat:) For iftari we had french-fries a la desi style, pakoras, cheese and sausage patties, spring rolls, dhahi barey, fruit chat, pani-puri and of course ROOH-AFZA! MashAllah se we just couldn't get enough of it. And when we did, we were told there was dinner to follow too!!!Of course, there was a namaaz break and then some more chit-chat and then, dinner was served. The combination of biryani and haleem was FATAL....just tooooooooooooo good. Finally, dessert came: yet again another fatal combination of garma garam freshie freshie apple pie with thandi thandi (obviously) vanilla ice cream. BOY was it a tough task to not explode...we had a really good time and totally felt at home...We even got to help clean up - (mother dearest, you should be glad to read this!)
Thanks a bunch roomie for taking me (it really meant a lot, how can i ever repay you :D); roomie's phuppo for the wonderful hospitality and scrumpdelicious meal; roomie's cousin for the entertainment and the transport; and friends for the great company that they always are...

Apart from that, life's rolling along normally. Before i sign off, I just really feel like telling you HOW much i miss you all!!!!I know i don't say/type/chat it enough, but you're all on my mind every passing moment of the day....love you and miss u guys so so sooooooooooooooo much:)

Et c'est tout....till the next post :)
