Roomie was quite moved by this and gave it almost full score: Hotel Rwanda's fantastic, do take out some time and give it a watch. Next, as suggested by Z, finally watched Requiem for a Dream - am blown away. The cinematography was absolutely brilliant, no doubts there. Great shots with a fantastic soundtrack to support. Must see.
Obviously and finally, to cater for the weak-hearted like myself, there had to be a balancing act and on the recommendation of F, Wedding Crashers was it.

Taking notes in class used to be fun. Fun? Ok, not exactly fun, but easy to say the least. Especially if you like to write and don't really care about the legibility of what you've written.
